With current WBC World Champion Tony Bellew otherwise engaged, the governing body ordered this bout between their first and second-ranked fighters in the division, pitting an experienced, former World ruler against a heavy-handed operator who is yet to taste defeat.
Huck (40-3-1, 27 KOs) was at the top of the division for seven years until he was stopped by Krzysztof Glowacki in August 2015, falling one fight short of ending the record of consecutive Cruiserweight Title defences set by Johnny Nelson.
